A leaking faucet is almost always a worn washer, cartridge or O-ring, but the exact part depends on the faucet type. We repair or replace the failed component rather than the whole fixture when the fixture itself is otherwise in good shape. A toilet that keeps running is usually a flapper that no longer seals, a fill valve set too high, or mineral buildup on the flush valve seat — all common with the mineral-heavy water found along the Wasatch Front. A toilet that runs constantly can waste a meaningful amount of water over a month, so it's worth fixing even when it isn't causing a visible mess.
Low water pressure has several possible causes: a partially closed or corroded valve, mineral buildup inside older pipe, a failing pressure regulator, or a leak elsewhere in the system pulling pressure away from the fixture you're testing.
